4812 Rainbow Blvd has had quite the rich and extensive history. Built in 1930 to be a grocery store, it has been the home of many retailers providing goods for the local and metro community since. From food, to home goods, to interior decor, and furs; this historical brick building has seen a little bit of everything walk through it's doors. As of August 31, 2023, we closed on the property and are excited to renovate the space to be our future home for Blair and Blythe.

I am working closely with a local architectural firm and general contractor as we are in the middle stages of creating new floorplans and elevations for the new space. 3,300 sq ft (6,600 sq ft total!) on both floors calls for a lot of creative thinking and planning to integrate a fully functioning retail store, interior design studio, and creative office space. 

I hope to integrate traditional design with fresh and modern takes on retail and lifestyle within the new space. The building will be more approachable and warm for each new shopper and client to walk in our (new) doors. I hope to honor the building's history and only supplement what has been established and existing for all these years. 

As we get closer to finalizing 3D images and start renovations, I look forward to sharing more with you so you can join us on this journey. I am so excited to breathe fresh air into a building that has been a staple in our small community of Westwood for so long. Perspective is the gift that allows us the time to recognize where we came from and what we are building. I continue to celebrate the past in each design element and renovation decision made in eagerness of welcoming you all into our store in 2024!
